Data Marathon is a simulation of the Data Analyst job that will introduce you to databases and the methods of working with them. Data analysis is a wide field, and we can't cover all its branches in one course, so we will focus on product and marketing data analysis.

Our course can help if you're looking to switch careers and are considering data analysis as an option. We won't provide you with enough knowledge for a Junior Data Analyst position, but we'll show you the day-to-day work of a data analyst, their most common tasks and tools, so that you can decide on your own whether this is the job for you. You will get acquainted with:

• SQL basics: learn to select data with specified conditions, use aggregate functions and group data;
• Python basics: learn about variables and data types, the pandas library, try filtering and aggregating data from tables;
• main product metrics: look at such metrics as LTV, CAC, AOV, ARPU, ARPPU, and calculate some of them using real-life game developer data.
